A little love.

This beautiful bride-to-be sent me the most thoughtful card this week. I am so honored.

“Dear Erica,

Marc and I can’t thank you enough for the amazing pictures you took for our engagement. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. You have a God-given talent that has created memories for us that we can always look back on… forever. Since the photos, I have been following your blog and realize that you touch so many lives with your talent. We are so thankful and our photographer in Ohio is going to have a lot to live up to. You have set the bar so high with your customer service, talent and professionalism.”

With gracious gratitude,

Christina & Marc

A little love.

I received this wonderful surprise in my mailbox a few days ago… so sweet to receive something so nice in the mail! :)

“Erica,

First, let me tell you I’d rather drive to Lakeside and give you a giant hug… but this card is far less creepy!! Hehehe… THANK YOU for these amazing photos!! Ben and I are beyond thrilled at the outcome and can’t even begin to show how excited we are! Your work is truly amazing and I am in awe. You’ve captured our love, our playfulness, our sincerity and our goofiness in all these shots and you’ve given us such a special memory with these!! God has truly blessed you and we are so blessed, in turn, to get to know you and get to have you capture our wedding memories next year. It was absolutely surreal seeing our faces on your blog after admiring your work for so long. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful work!!”

Warmly,

Erin & Ben

Erica,

“Choosing you was the very first thing we did when we started planning our wedding. We knew from the first second that we saw your work that we would love to have you capture our day. You are warm, friendly, are easy to talk to, and truly have a gift in your talent. You always made us feel comfortable and you capture amazing images. We felt that our wedding pictures were such an important part of our day, since it is what we will have forever. Because of you, we are able to relive every moment! Your photographs of our wedding are bringing love and joy to us, our families, and friends. That is such a special gift! We feel blessed and lucky that you were with us on our special day.”

Love,

Dave and Loretta

Mentor love.

Another very kind review from one of my mentor session clients… thank you so much, Crystal!

I get to work with the best people. :)

“A few months ago I had the good fortune of stumbling upon the website of Acres of Hope Photography. It was truly love at first site. I loved the warm, crisp and natural feel of her images and the organic way she captured connections, beauty, love and life. I spent more time than I’d like to admit scrolling through session after amazing session before I realized that this incredibly talented photographer offers mentor sessions- in San Diego! I longed to sit across from someone I admired and hear about her journey in hopes to stay inspired to continue my own. So that is what I told Erica Schneider of Acres of Hope Photography and that’s exactly what we did. Erica’s communication throughout the planning process was so efficient and made me feel that our time together would be as important to her as it was to me. She asked what I was interested in learning and what type of client I’d like for my mentor session, so I knew we’d be ready to go.

We began our first session at Starbucks getting to know one another, she was even kind enough to treat me to coffee! We then moved on to our couples session where I continued observing, shooting and learning from Erica. She calmed my nerves about shooting with her talented self which allowed me to capture some images I am very proud of. Erica was an open book, we talked throughout the session and no question went unanswered- believe me I had a few. We met a week later to review my images and Erica answered a few [ok a ton] more questions. Erica is so absolutely lovely, real and talented. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from her. This experience was and continues to be invaluable to me and know anyone who completes a mentor session with her will feel the same. By the length of my review I obviously can’t say enough wonderful things, so if you’re considering a mentor session with Erica, all that is left to say is DO IT!”

A little wedded love.

“Erica! I got soooooo excited this morning when I checked my email and saw that the rest of the photos were up!! I love them all and it brings back so much emotion looking at them, I got the chills! I took my time looking through all 800!!! And during that time I got to relive so many once in a lifetime moments –  I felt tears of joy while looking at my face during that so surreal moment when my mom was putting me in my dress, so much excitement looking through and reliving the “first look” photos, feeling completely blessed while looking at the pictures of me and Pat surrounded by all our friends and family in the bridal party and all our wonderful guests, I was literally laughing out loud when I got to the 700′s capturing all the dancing and fun – we definitely know how to have a good time ;) And so many more emotions and memories! The whole day was filled with so much love and joy and I love that I can always look back on these incredible photos and remember how special our wedding day was! I feel so blessed that you were our photographer – I would not have wanted ANYONE else! You did a wonderful job, you and Deven make a great team and you both are such a pleasure to be around! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!”
